What You Can Do

  • Get instant summaries: Generate concise insights right from YouTube.
  • Choose your style: Analysis or Summary (with clickable timestamps). Premium users can use Custom prompts.
  • Stay organized: Save to folders, drag-and-drop, unread badges, and quick search by video title.
  • Sync across devices: Sign in with Google (via Supabase) to access your summaries anywhere.
  • Dark mode: Comfortable reading in any environment.

How It Works

  • Chrome Extension: Injects a “Summarize” button on YouTube thumbnails and video pages.
  • AI Engine: Our backend uses Google’s Gemini model to generate summaries.
  • Secure Sync: Supabase provides authentication and database with Row Level Security.
  • Credits: Free monthly credits included; premium increases limits. One credit ≈ one minute of video.

  • Minimal permissions: We request only what’s needed to add UI on youtube.com, store your settings, and handle sign-in.
